Jones Splitboard Skins

Not all splitboard skins are created equal. Some slide well, but are slippery on slopes. Others are like Velcro: great for climbing, terrible for traveling. Jones Nomad climbing skins eliminate this problem, as these 70% Mohair/30% Synthetic Nylon skins offer the perfect balance between slip and grip. Premium natural mohair fibers provide unmatched glide in any snow condition because they remain soft and flexible at any temperature. Nylon fibers provide additional traction when the skin track becomes steep or icy. The skin fibers are also coated with EVER DRY non-stick treatment to improve performance in wet snow and keep the skin dry lap after lap.

Quick Tension Tail ClipThe Quick Tension Tail Clip is designed for Jones 2016 Splitboards -17 except Discovery. All new Jones Splitboards now feature a notch cut in the tail of both skis that allows the Quick Tension Tail Clip to simply slide into the notch and secure to the skin.

70% mohair / 30% nylon Jones Universal and Premium climbing skins are made from a blend of 70% natural mohair fiber and 30% synthetic nylon. Mohair offers unmatched glide and a supple skin feel, while nylon improves grip and water repellency.

Ever Dry Jones skins are treated with EVER DRY non-stick treatment, which helps prevent skins absorb moisture and prevents snow/ice buildup under the skin.

Grip Tech skins< /strong>They are made with a special material that performs well under dynamic stress and has high resistance to torsion and abrasion.
