Grant Taylor, born October 30, 1991, is a renowned American professional skateboarder known for his fast and powerful style. His father, Thomas Taylor, also a former professional skateboarder, played an important role in introducing Grant to the world of skateboarding at an early age. Grant's talent was recognized early, with Volcom sponsoring him in the early stages of his career. His skate style is characterized by being versatile, fusing contemporary elements with older skate traditions.

Professionally, Taylor rose to prominence after appearing in the Nike SB skate video, "Debacle," in 2009. He turned professional shortly after and has since become a symbol of a new generation of skateboarders, fusing modern style with the oldest traditions of skateboarding.
